Teens in the Heideveld community faces numerous pressures. On top of ‘growing up’ and all the physical changes that brings, home and school life can be difficult. We believe that God loves and cares deeply for all of us, including our teens and so we do all we can communicate God’s word to them, and to share his love with them.
Teen Church: Sunday mornings
We invite all Grades 7-9 to join us on Sunday mornings to take part in our church service, including a special Teen Bible study during the sermon.
Friday Youth
We welcome all teens to join us for Youth every Friday evening 5-7pm. We spend time hanging out, playing games, getting to know one another better, and mostly importantly, studying the bible together. It is in knowing Jesus Christ through his word that teenagers will be equipped for all of this life and the next life.
Camps
Every year in December we join teens from all our partner churches’ youth groups at Cross Word Youth Camp.
We also run a weekend away camp for our teens once a year where again we plan to have lots of fun together, with a focus on bible teaching.
